What this policy covers

This Cookie Policy explains how Kvants uses cookies, pixels, local storage, SDKs, and similar technologies on Kvants websites and services. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Types of technologies we use

Essential technologies keep you signed in, route traffic, protect sessions, remember security settings, and make core services work. Without them, the services may not function.

Preference technologies remember choices such as interface state, onboarding progress, display mode, and selected settings.

Kvants sets one first-party attribution cookie, kvants_attr, when you first arrive. It records how you reached us: any utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term or advertising click identifier in the link you followed, the referring website, and the first Kvants page you opened. It is written once per visit, expires after 90 days, is read only by Kvants, and is never shared with or read by a third party. We use it to understand which channels bring people to Kvants and to attribute waitlist joins and account signups to the campaign or referrer that produced them. If you create an account or join the waitlist, these values are saved on your Kvants record.

When your privacy choice allows it, Google Analytics measures page views, traffic sources, usage, performance, errors, and funnel behavior; Hotjar records sessions and builds heatmaps; and PostHog measures product usage and records fully masked sessions to show how pages are used.

X Pixel is enabled by default to help measure campaigns, build audiences, and retarget visitors with Kvants ads on X unless you disable it through Privacy choices. Meta Pixel and Meta's server-side conversion measurement remain disabled until your saved choice enables Meta.

Local storage and similar storage

Kvants may use browser local storage or session storage for tokens, admin sessions, interface state, onboarding state, feature flags, and performance. Privacy choices are mirrored between local storage and a same-site first-party cookie so browser and server-side analytics honor the same preference. Clearing browser storage may sign you out or reset preferences.

Third-party technologies

X may set or read cookies or similar identifiers for traffic measurement, conversion measurement, audience building, and interest-based advertising by default unless you disable X through Privacy choices. According to your saved choices, Google Analytics, Meta, Hotjar, and PostHog may use similar technologies. Other third-party technologies may be used for payment, email, model, wallet, broker, exchange, hosting, and security services. Their use is governed by their own policies.

How to control cookies and ads

X Pixel loads by default. Allow essentials keeps X Pixel enabled while leaving Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, and PostHog off. Allow all enables all five services. Customize lets you switch each service on or off individually, including disabling X, and you can reopen Privacy choices at any time. These choices do not affect waitlist or sign-in functionality; blocking essential first-party storage may.

The first-party kvants_attr attribution cookie is set independently of that choice, because it involves no third party and no cross-site tracking. You can delete or block it through your browser at any time, which affects nothing except our own channel reporting.

A recognized Global Privacy Control signal overrides previously saved choices and keeps all five third-party tracking services off while the signal is active.
